About DharmaVote
Why DharmaVote exists
Dharma represents truth, duty, and right conduct. In an era where misinformation spreads faster than truth through group chats and social feeds, India faces a unique challenge. We built DharmaVote to provide clear, accessible, and uncompromising fact-checks on the claims shaping public opinion in India.
How we verify
- Identifying claims: We actively monitor social media and accept submissions from users to identify claims that are spreading rapidly.
- Research & Verification: Our team traces the claim to its origin and cross-references it against primary sources—government data, peer-reviewed scientific research, official transcripts, and verified news reports.
- Publishing the verdict: We publish our findings with full transparency, linking directly to every source we used so you can verify our work.
